4th loss :'(
Well I was supposed to be 8 weeks today. Went for my first Dr appointment and ultrasound and there was sac . A yolk sac, but no baby.. I am scheduled for a D&C Friday with a ultrasound before the surgery just to ease my mind and confirm I have for sure have a blighted ovum. God has a plan for me. I'm not a quitter I'm praying to be back on the pregnancy boat soon.

Thank you, Triangle.. So sorry for your loss as well! Yes definitely praying for our rainbow babies.. My Dr said we could ttc right away.. Or when I am emotionally ready...

Have you gotten any blood tests to find out why you have miscarriages? I've had 3 and I got blood work and found out I have a gene mutation that causes blood clots a protein s deficiency that causes blood clots. I have to have extra folic acid and be on lovenox shots the entire pregnancy(blood thinner). The gene mutation causes recurrent miscarriages unfortunately. It's called mthfr.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is and wanting answers as to why. My doctor seen how emotional I was after my 2nd loss and was nice enough to do testing after my levels went down. Most doctors make you have 3 or more before they will do testing.

Thank you Melissa.. I'm sorry for your losses as well. Yesterday my Dr had me go for lab work and and was talking about trying to figure out why I keep miscarrying. He also told me to take a baby aspirin. I still have this hope to see a baby on ultrasound Friday before my d&c my gestation sac was perfectly round. With a perfectly round yolk sac. I read that it can't be a blighted ovum if there's a yolk sac. My uterus is retoverted maybe baby was hiding due to that.. Idk.. Wishful thinking I guess :(

Ive read that as well about the blighted ovum. The baby aspirin will help as well, some doctors believe I need lovenox others believe I need just baby aspirin. Hoping things work out for you and praying to see a baby!!!!

My body is starting to miscarry. As with my last blighted ovum the contents of the gestational sac was the first symptom I seen letting me know I am beginning the process. It has started about an hour ago. Called my Dr they said I can still choose to keep my appointment or stay at home.. I choose to keep my appointment. I want this to be done and over with so I start the journey again lol.. Thank you all for your wonderful kind words of support.
