Amazon registry!!!!??

Ok, ladies- I need to vent. I've registered on Amazon and my shower is coming up at the end of the month, but there are already several items that are just "out of stock". I've emailed Amazon about this problem before and they've told me there's no way to know when an item will be back in stock (like their stock is a huge surprise to the whole company).
