Nope. It is correct. Ultrasound are very accurate, unlike your lmp. You never truly know when you ovulate unless you test for that daily. I ovulate different each cycle, sometimes it's early others it's really pushing the late mark. so the ultrasound is the best and only way to know for sure.

Same happened to me. Rough going back a few weeks but as long as there is a heartbeat I am happy :)

I am also measuring small. My LMP puts me at 8w+4 but baby is measuring 6w+6 today. My baby didn't have a strong heartbeat so I'm going back on Thursday to have another ultrasound to check.

Thanks for the support, ladies! I'm trying not to stress bc I saw the heart beating ... I'm just a little apprehensive, esp with today's follow-up US. But I'm sure I have no reason to worry, the doc didn't sound concerned. I'll post an update in a few hours!

So according to today's US I'm 8 weeks 2 days along, giving me the due date of my hubby's 30th birthday!! Strong heartbeat: 167.

I went through the exact same thing. Based on my LMP I should have been 8 weeks along but my first ultrasound showed bambino was only 5 weeks. That meant I either had my LMP date wrong (which I know for a fact I didn't) or my bambino had stopped growing at 5 weeks. I was torn up but went back 10 days later for a repeat ultrasound and there was a strong heartbeat and bambino was growing right on track. Idk what happened but I was very confident my bambino was doing fine BC my pregnancy symptoms got worse, and I never had any spotting or bad cramping. The best thing my doctor told me was the relax as much as possible and focus on making sure I don't stress out BC when I stress my tiny tiny bambino stresses out and no mother-to-be wants that. Stay positive! It must be a common thing to happen :)

I just posted something similar. According to my lmp I should be 11 weeks but according to my ultrasound I'm about 8 weeks. What is really confusing is how I got a bfp so early It had to have been at like 2 weeks

It happens a lot. 2-3 weeks difference had to be something like that not just behind in growing or small.
