ff moms How long did it take for you to stop bleeding? And how long did it take ur breastto dry…

I never produced milk it was only a few days at best dr just said keep a tight bra on

I bled for almost 6weeks then had my first periods at 6weeks exactly

I didn't want to smell like eggrolls so I never did the cabbage leaves ??

Milk dried up about 3 weeks pp and I stopped bleeding about 2 1/2 weeks pp. I did pump while baby was in NICU and she was discharged at 11 days old.

I wore tight sports bras to help dry up my milk

I had a bad case of mastitis and oversupply. But at first I wasn't trying to dry up but, once I accepted defeat from strong antibiotics and my LO not taking to the breast I did cold cabbage (mainly for my pain) or cold rags and Sudafed and benydral. I did use a hand pump to relieve the pressure just enough to stop the pain or hand expressed in shower to ease pain. I just wore a regular sports bra, nothing too tight and kept breast pads in bra for letdown.

I dried up completely at 6-8 weeks.

I stopped bleeding at 6-8 weeks as well, well the heavy stuff only lasted 1.5 weeks. Then had that gross brown stuff for the rest

After my first my sister wrapped an ac bandage around my boobs and they were dry within a week. I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. She says it did. Lol.

I used cabbage leave within like 4 days my milk dried up a lot still a little bit but not much but they helped so much !!

I stopped bleeding about 6 weeks pp and I never got huge blood clots till the last two days but doc said it’s just been sitting in there , and then my first pp period was absolutely disgusting beware lol

So what should I expect as my first pp period? Is it different than if i breastfed for a while them stopped and got a period?

You can bind them with an ace bandage and a tight fighting sports bra. Dont let warm water hit your chest when you shower.. It will take anywhere from 4 days to a week and a half ... It sucks and hurts so bad.. Believe me you will prefer smelling like a cabbage lol .. I honestly would try that if you can and if that doesn't work try binding them...

My milk never came in so that I didn’t have to worry about. However, I only bled for about 2 weeks pp then I was back on a normal period schedule.

My milk dried up after about 3 weeks and I stopped bleeding at 5 weeks, for around 3 days and then had a 'period' but it was as heavy as post partum bleeding. The clots I passed were huge! Vile? But my periods since baby have been less painful x

I got my period back 5 weeks PP and it was very regular after that. I took half a Benadryl to help dry my boobs up...my milk stopped pretty fast

I think pp bleeding is around the same ff or bf I made a post about this last year before I gave birth and it seemed the numbers were the same .

If you use an anti histamine it should help you dry up do not pump or feed or anything the more you do that it will make it take longer cause your body will think you need it. If it’s too painful only hand Express just enough that it makes the feeling bearable .

I did both ff and bf from day one and I stopped bleeding after 2 weeks. And got my first real period exactly a month after birth. And had them every month except once when I think I may have had a chemical pregnancy (unsure because we weren't trying). So I don't think it really does do too much. Bfing didn't help me lose weight either.

But after having both of my boys I only bled for the first couple days, then I had the discharge for about a week. Then nothing!!!! Then when I had my first period, which was 5 weeks after giving birth, it was HORRIBLE. It was extremely heavy, for 7 days.

When I stopped breastfeeding my supply was already low but I swear peppermint tea dried it all the way up fairly quickly.

I never bf and no milk ever leak. my boobs never hurt so i still don't think I ever have milk in the first place. But I stop bleeding 3 weeks pp. I had a c section they say you bleed less because they such a lot of the blood out before they close you up.
