Is Being Overweight Affecting My Baby's Movements?
overweight mamas
I was overweight before I got pregnant because my son just turned a year old so I didn't get a chance to lose my baby weight from my son that I just had last September but I am currently 19 weeks and 4 days and I have only felt the baby move like once or twice do you guys think that is because I had a little more to love on me before I got pregnant or should I be concerned

If you had a little more to love I would think it would take longer to feel on the outside, not the inside. I wouldn’t worry about it though. This is my second pregnancy and I don’t feel the baby move a ton either. Im around 19 weeks.

I’m very overweight and I’ve been feeling baby almost daily since 13 weeks (currently 20 weeks)
Each pregnancy is different- it’s not uncommon to not feel a lot of movements until later in the 2nd trimester.
If you’re worried talk to you doctor but I think in the next week or two you will be feeling a lot more movement since the baby is working on hardening the bones which you will soon be feeling ??

I wouldn't worry about it, this is my 4th pregnancy and this took longer for me to feel movement, I believe I started feeling he/she move around 20wks. All my others I felt between 15-17wks.

I was over weight before I got pregnant. I first felt the baby moving between 18-19 weeks and more consistently between 20-21 weeks. I also found out at my anatomy scan I have an anterior placenta so most of the baby kicks are on the placenta and that’s why im not feeling them as much.

Maybe you have an anterior placenta. I have one and at 21 weeks I’ve barely felt her at all.
