Blisters!! Lexi has a nasty blister on the back of her ankle it's all purple and her ankles swollen…

As a nurse I would recommend you get her seen. I'd ring 111. If there's a red area around the blister, draw around it with a pen so you can see if it's spreading x

I had similar as a child with a throat infection, as per pp call 111 they should see her xx

I just took her temp again and it's only come down to 38 she won't let me touch her whole ankle it's rock solid aswell I will give them a ring xx

I would just go to a&e, you don't want to risk infection. Xx

I'm gonna take her the swelling dosent seem to be coming down and she's still extremely hot and flustered the blister looks a mess and her ankle is bright red too thanks girls x

Sorry I've not updated she has cellulitis! On strong antibiotics so hopefully she feels better soon

Thankyou! They have drawn round the swelling and redness and if by tomorrow morning it's spread over the line she had to go back in for iv antibiotics x
