Drink lots of water, find where you are comfortable in your house for growth spurt days, comfortable clothing and bras, oatmeal is good for your milk production, if you have a good latch established then it should be ok, the first 2-6 weeks I found really difficult but turned a corner at six weeks where I feel more confident leaving the house.
Also I have not had the most supportive family and they constantly tell me my baby eats too much and I need to bottle feed, finding mental strength to keep to my choice has been hard but I'm determined! My husband is very supportive, I send him links on the benefits of bf and he has helped me massively throughout our journey! Good Luck it's not an easy thing to do to begin with but it gets easier
The best thing I found was staying calm when getting Mia to latch, if she had trouble latching and I got worked up she did too so stay as calm as u can and try and not stress just take her away for a sec then try again, a happy mummy is a happy baby, drink plenty of fluids, I didn't know to avoid things like Coke etc until I had been brought a bottle and the midwife saw it and told me not to drink it cuz it can make baby quite gassy too lol good luck with it Hun xx
The first 6 weeks I found difficult breastfeeding until the milk supply was established as baby wants to feed a lot at night too! But it's worth it so all the best Hun I breastfed my first and loved it xx
Jace couldn't latch properly and we tried loads of different ways, my nipples literally turned into scabs after 2 days, after seeing 3 latch specialists it was pretty clear that it wasn't going to work and I was devastated!
My only advice would be is to see someone asap to make sure the latch is correct otherwise you will get very sore very quickly, also if it doesn't work for you, don't be hard on yourself, a lot of people force information on you and say you could have done this or that and all babies can breastfeed......it really got me down and I felt like a failure!
Hopefully you will be fine, it's hard but stick at it xx
If it's not hurting the latch is probably fine, you want to bear in mind when latching that you need as much breast in her mouth as possible, they don't suck the nipple! If you put your nipple under her nose she should open her mouth as she'll smell your milk, kind of slide your breast down and into her mouth and don't be afraid to unlatch and start again if you don't feel it looks or feels right, just use a clean finger in the corner of her mouth to break the seal first!
Use plenty of lansinoh in between feeds to help keep your nipples from being chapped, they might still get a little sore but they do toughen up!
When your milk comes in and you experience let down (when your breast pushes the milk out in a flow) it can feel a bit like a stinging sensation, hard to explain, but it does calm down, I mistook it for something being wrong until I realised what it was.
If you can stick with it, it will be much easier in the long run for you, never having to get out of bed to make a bottle and not needing to pack milk when going out!
My only piece of advice would be to make sure that you wait for your baby to open mouth really wide before latching them on and keep an eye on whether they have full cheeks. I was breastfeeding wrong for two days until midwife came to my house and told me these things and by then I really struggled to get my baby to latch properly as his blood sugar levels had got so low! We got there in the end and my god it was so worth the struggles. I thought breastfeeding would be easy but please don't think that it always will be at first, but in the end it really is the best thing ever!!

YouTube videos to check your latch is ok. Feed baby when she is showing hunger cues. Keep on going and have faith in what your body can do x
