Cakes Has anyone got a simple easy cake recipe? Im making a birthday cake or attempting to anyway?

4oz caster sugar

4oz of marg

2 eggs

4oz flour and

2 tea spoons of vanilla essence

Mix sugar and marg

Then add eggs then sifted flour and pop vanilla essence in

Will make two thin sandwich cakes xx

150g self raising flour, 150g butter or Marg, 150g caster sugar, 3 eggs, teaspoon of baking powder and a splash of vanilla essence. I also usually add a little milk and bake on 180* until cooked. Good luck! x

I've got great chocolate cace recipe. It's mary berry's celebration choc cake.

190 g self raising flour

150 g caster sugar

2 tbsp cocoa powder

1tsp bicarb soda

1tsp baking powder

2tbsp golden syrup

2 free range eggs

150 ml sunflower oil

150 ml of milk

Combine the dry ingredients tgen make well in the centre and add the wet ones and whisk. Pour into 2 20 cm loose bottom sandwich tins. Bake 25-30 mins in 180 degrees

Just get a Betty Crocker mix - they're fab! Really easy to make ?
