It works out like that for some reason they pay a little less a month than stated as its added up for year the divided by the amount of fortnights I think rather than months it works out my sister gets an extra payment one month when rents not due which makes up the shortfall so u do get the right entitlement for the year but it's just the way it's paid makes payments different x

So basically £512 X 12 = £6144

Then divide that by 52 = £188.15 a week so it depends on how many weeks there are per month. So each month will be slightly different.

Try your council office rather then phone as they will have all the info there xx

It's so confusing how they word the letters. Mine gets paid straight to my housing association every 4 weeks but I pay monthly so I'm always in arrears each month by like a week.

Finally understand it only took me 2 years ? X

Also if u get any rent free week they do not pay them weeks so like my housing we get four free a year
