Moving into a new house Ive gone blank! What do i need that's necessary? Ive got all the main stuff…

Food, bedding, lamps, somewhere to sit, cutlery, plates glasses, cups, kettle, microwave, dish towels, cleaning stuff, lightbulbs.

New curtains (and curtain rails) if windows sizes are different from your old ones? Carpet if the house needs it? I always change the toilet seat whenever I move, can't stand to use the one from the previous tenant.

Ive got a toilet seat? carpet and curtains are all brand new its a new build

I move tomorrow and still not packed! X

Ive got my sofa its being delievered tomorrow i think ive got the mains but i know ill be forgetting something important? thanks ladies x

Microwave, laundry basket, broom,sweeping brush, polish (when I moved into my new build it was really dusty) I normal pack a box or suitcase of essential I would need straight away like kettle lol, tea bags loo roll nappies wipes etc good luck for the move

Yeah i didn't think of doing something like that knowing me id pack all the essentials in a box and forget where i put it? and thankyou x

Bottle opener ?

Pots and pans?, I'm trying to think as u know I only just moved in Erm..... Cutlery, kettle, utensils, light bulbs lol! , cleaning stuff, double plugs omg this is hard

Loo roll and light bulbs were first things in my new build and scissors. To cut thE door ribbon and to unpack. Tea bags/coffee and milk were vital for the workers - I had surgery a week before my move so wasn't allowed to lift.

also needed wine glasses as they left us champagne and chocolates as a welcome. Wet wipes, although it should be cleaned through professionally an hour before you get the keys xx good luck and enjoy

Definitely make sure you have kettle tea bags milk etc, toilet roll! And make sure your bedding is easily accessible cause when you're knackered later you can just collapse! Hope all goes well x

Wine. Take away menus. Toilet roll. Snacks to keep you going.
