Fear of VBAC? I'm scared, ?less. Today was my due date but midwife doesn't want to let me go over 41…

I didn't have or try for a vbac, I opted for a repeat. I had a failed induction with my first and it was awful. My 2nd was still considered emergency because he came 6 days before scheduled date but I went straight back to surgery and recovery was night and day for me. I was up walking by myself the next morning and sleeping on my stomach by the time I got home. That being said, you know your body. Do what's best for you =) rock that vbac if you continue that route or schedule your c section if that's what you're comfortable with! You got this, either way you'll be meeting your sweet baby soon!

I don't know anyone whose had a c section but myself. So I have no one to talk about it with.

I had an emergency c section with my daughter and it was hell. My induction just caused her to stress and her fluid levels were at 3.5. Recovery was the worst for me. Is a planned c section less painful recovery wise than a scheduled one?

With my 1 st I had an emergency c-section which was stressful.

My 2nd was scheduled an it was so stress free an went really good an I recovered quickly next day I was up changing my baby an walkin around.

@steph for me yes. I was hardly in pain (discomfort Obviously from surgery and just having a baby) but nothing compared to with my first. I'm hoping to have a similar experience in September with my third.

I had a c section then a vbac. I enjoyed the vbac. I was older with the vbac and 17 with the c section. I healed quickly with the c section. Not sure I could repeat a quick heal. Vbac I was out buying a washer dryer 2 days later. With my c section, even years later I always felt like the scar was gonna rip apart and the nerves were very sensitive.
