When my hubby and I decided on a name , I felt the same way. Wasn't 100%, even though I liked it. But after my son was born, one look at him and we knew we chose right. His name fits him perfectly. Go with your original gut instincts

I like Aidan a lot better to me Eden sounds like a girls name

Eden is a girl's name. Think of the garden of Eden where Eve is tricked by the serpent to eat the fruit. What about Ian , Israel, Jace, Ethan, Brice, Keegan

Eden is feminine to me, I've never heard it as a male name, only for girls.

That being said, I also didn't click with my son's name. I would even say I regretted it until he was like 2 years old, but now I'm really starting to love it, it fits him so well. So I do think it's ok not to be 100% in love with a name, it's not always a "omg that's the perfect name!" moment for everyone, sometimes it takes some getting used to.

Eden was the 151st most popular name for girls last year. Not in the top 1000 for boys. I've never heard it used for a boy. I'd steer clear. Or use it as a middle name, since your husband likes it so much.

Eden is very feminine to me.

I've never thought of it as feminine honestly. It doesn't sound like a girl's name to be at all BUTTTT I'll use that as an excuse to see if hubby will budge lol

My DH has a good friend called Eden. He is a great guy, I have never thought of the name as feminine.

I think spelling it Edan does not work, but that's me. .

I would personally choose Eden over Aiden, just because it seems like half of boys bring born today are being named Aiden or something that rhymes with it (Caiden, Braydon, Jayden...). I don't find it feminine, but maybe putting a strong, obviously masculine middle name with it would help if you're concerned.

Sorry, but it is a girl's name. I would select a similar name that is typically given to boys.
