not sure..
Hope this isn't a silly question, forgot to talk to my doc about this.
My midwives told me to call them & the on call midwife will notify the hospital that I'm coming and send over my records. I already pre-registered so I won't have anything to fill out upon arrival this time.
Last time I wasn't registered though & I had to answer a few questions and sign some things while they got me settled in my room.
My doctor told me I didn't have to call to just go straight over I did go to the hospital 2 days ago contractions were 3 min apart and got there they asked me a few questions at the window and sent me up to my room. Every hospital might be different but mine I didn't have to call. :)
If they haven't given you a preregistration package than they most likely sent all your information over electronically. My doctor told me that he knows the last thing a pregnant woman wants to do is call everyone when they're going through so much pain, so he told me the hospital should already have their numbers and information so they should be taking care of it. I would ask just to double check mama.
