How soon? How soon should you wait until you share the news with close family and friends?

I told my sister in law and brother in law right away. Which was last week lol (4w2d) and we are telling my parents and my I laws when I'm 8wks om September 5th.

Well I Told My Parent, Siblings, and Fiancée the Day I found Out. And told Them All not to Tell a soul until I was Ready. Well I get on Facebook That Next Morning and God Behold 1 minute Ago My Mom Told The Whole World. Lol She Was Just Soo excited!

I'm 8+3 tmr & have my ultrasound apt, after we get the pic were telling ppl

Only my partner and mum know and im eleven weeks tomorrow, after ive had my next scan at about twleve weeks we will tell our brothers and sisters and the rest of imediate family and then after that we will tell friends. I just wouldn't want to share until certain risks drop but not judging early sharers. Its personal choice after all. X

I told everyone when I turned 12 weeks and heard the babies heartbeat. It's so nice that everyone finally knows!

My husband knew on the day my test showed positive. We told my mum when I was 4 weeks (very early) and I have told one person at work who I trust, just in case I'm ill or need to leave in a hurry etc etc. we are waiting until 13 weeks when all is ok with scans etc. busting to tell people, however we found the best way to approach this ' if something did happen because I'm so early on (heaven forbid) who would be the person I would want by my side and how would I feel telling others I had lost it'. Everyone is different but I don't like a lot of fuss and if something did happen I wouldn't like the fussing. Tell whoever you want I say as long as you are ok with telling them both the good and hopefully not, but possibly the bad ?

Everyone found out at 7weeks

We told my parents at 13 weeks, all our close friends and family knew after that by 16 weeks.

Everyone is different. We told my parents a week after we found out (at about week 5). We told my husbands grandpa at 7 weeks and we have told his dad and sister this week at 10.5 weeks. We have had and ultra sound now and heard a heartbeat so we will announce at church this Sunday and I'll be 11 weeks. :-) although we still have a few more family members to tell first lol

I told everyone almost as soon as I found out lol. Both times lol. Jan ended in a MC but I still would have had to tell people i has MC so I didn't bother keeping it secret this time either.

My boyfriend & sister know. In Not telling my parents & friends till bout 12 weeks.

CAN SOMEONE HELP?! If I wait until 12 weeks to announce my pregnancy, is that 12 weeks from conception, or my last period?
