Do doctors ever let you attempt this or is it definitely a 3rd CS?

It wasn't an option for me, and it turned out to be a good thing? During 3rd csection found out cord was around neck! I wouldn't have risked anyway even if I had the choice as my babies were all so tiny they couldn't handle labor

My doctor said no they wouldn't even attempt it :(. Oh well. At least I know what to prepare for...

I have had 2vba2c. Acog says vba2c is acceptable for MOST women! My vbac births were amazing!

Mine refused to try and unfortunately they are the only hospital close by. I have heard of others however that have been able to successfully do vbac. In fact current guidelines show 2 sections make you a great candidate for vbac as long as you meet certain criteria. Good luck!
