TTC After Mirena Removal: Experiences and Timeline for Pregnancy
TTC after Mirena LONG, BUT PLEASE READ
What are your ladies experience TTC after Mirena? I had Mirena the first time while I was finishing grad school, and had it removed in April 2012. DH and I were TTC for months with no luck, but after I stopped trying as much we got pregnant in Dec 2012. DD was born Sep 2013, and I went back on Mirena in Nov 2013. The second time I had lots of problems with it, but ended up suffering for a while and finally had it removed Oct 2014. I'd really like to have another baby, as the whole pregnancy was really smooth (even though I ended up having CS due to DD being breech) and she has been an absolute angel baby and makes us incredibly happy. I think she's at a good age and would be a great big sister, but I'm wondering if it takes longer to conceive after all that. I've got baby fever for sure, and every time I hear of a friend getting pregnant I'm happy but also kinda jealous. Long story short, a close friend just told me last night she got her BFP. Needless to say, my baby fever kicked in full speed lol. My periods have been regular since removing Mirena, but for some reason I'm not sure if everything is back to normal. AF is due in 4 days, but we didn't BD as much this month, so I don't think this is my month. Any others with similar experience end up falling pregnant pretty quickly? I really want to add to our family in 2015.

I had my mirena removed April of this year and I'm still not pregnant. My periods are more regular now than before I had my1st kid, idk what I'm doing wrong.

I had mine removed this is my 9th month ttc after removal still no joy, but I do have regular periods. Never had a problem with my coil but I won't be having o e again if it takes so long to conceive after x

I had mine removed in October. Im coming up on my 3rd cycle ttc. I use opks to track ovulation. My cycles are back to normal. I hope everything is ok in there, but not sure how to tell that it is.

I had mine removed mid October and have not gotten a bfp yet. I test today if AF doesn't come.

Got my Mirena out October and had first af Nov 5th. Fell pregnant and had a chemical at the beginning of the month. Waiting on af due next Sunday but having same symptoms as last cycle so I think I'm pregnant again.

I got my mirena out last year. It took us 16 months of ttc before we finally for our BFP (I'm currently 9 weeks). My cycles weren't regular at all after mirena was removed which made it difficult.

Geez. Was hoping for some positive stories. I think it's so wrong that my doctors have told me on many occasions that you can conceive immediately after removal because there are no lasting effects and Mirena doesn't cause complications TTC. Clearly that's not true. Good luck ladies, and thanks for the feedback.

I got mine removed on the 22nd of October. I got what I think was a period 2 weeks later, and it lasted about 3 days....I HAVENT HAD ONE SINCE!!! I tested a few times and got bfn....I'm confused. We are TTC #1. Any suggestions?
