Thanksgiving we will spend at home with my family. We will be flying to my inlaws Christmas Day. We didn't want to drive this time around. Hard to believe we all have toddlers!

Thanksgiving we are taking a 7hr road trip to my moms. And Christmas I'll be home working a lot. I am so nervous about putting up my tree and my son tearing the lights/ornaments off.

I agree with pp, I'm worried about my son pulling stuff off of the tree or even the tree itself. But no, no exciting plans for us. We will just be making our usual trips to family members house's. :p

I'm afraid of that too! Unfortunately my ENTIRE tree is my massive collection of Smores man ornaments, so super delicate and breakable :-(

I was think about getting one of those plastic playyard pens around it, but not sure if it would work.

Any other mommy's have suggestions for keeping decorations safe??

Second pp. my DH and I have been collecting ornaments it's sort of our thing I dkn what to do. a gate around it? Any suggestions???

Well I looked up some suggestions, and all I got was to put all the glass/fragile ornaments at the top of the tree away from grabbing distance.

I think the bottom half of my tree is going to be empty or I'll put the less fragile ornaments down there.
