SORRY GUYS - Bassinet Question Again

Enzo sleeps in our bed too and won't sleep in his bassinet. He wants to be close to me, he's ok with sleeping next to me (not just on my chest) but he's not a fan of his bassinet lol. So I plan on ordering this little co-sleeper. That way he's always safe but he can still be close to me. Are you swaddling him to sleep? I find this helps Benji sleep better.

I have a cosleeper bassinet from Summer infant that just sits on top of my mattress. My son would be difficult to put back to bed in his bassinet, I figured it was because he went from my warm body to a cool bassinet so what I started doing was putting a heating blanket in his bed while he was nursing and taking it out right before I put him back in. This did seem to help.

Yeah we swaddle with the swaddle me swaddles and he likes them a lot. He just gets his hands out of it because he likes to suck on them.

But he will still scream like crazy even swaddled. I feel like I've exhausted every resource.

My daughter had that problem when we first came home from the hospital April 11. What I did was swaddle her before she falls asleep then put her on my chest while she's swaddle sitting up not laying down then once I catch her falling asleep put her in the bassinet and cover her with another blanket while she's swaddled in the bassinet. Worked for me might work for you.

There are different types of swaddles, ones where he won't be able to get his hands out. They tend to wake themselves when they do that. With my kiddos I use a Moses basket that sits on a rocking stand. It works great especially if they wake up when I lay them back down, then I just rock them till they fall back to sleep

You can try a full tummy & putting one of your shirts in the bassinet with him (or even swaddle him in it) so he's more comfortable.

It's currently 1 am and I just fed and changed him reswaddled so he can't get his hands out and now he is in his bassinet crying lol. I tried putting the shirt that I wore today underneath him so maybe he will catch my scent lol. I know he's got to be tired. I'll update soon

Update: he's got the hiccups lol and he's crying really angrily at the same time. It's really cute. ?

I think he's offended that I gave him my shirt and not the real deal.

Update: HES ASLEEP.

Our bassinet is free hanging off of its stand so I can sit and rock him in it while I can see him through the mesh "window" and I just rocked him and talked to him and now he is OUT. ?? Praise the Lord. Now for 2 hours of sleep before the next feed! ? I think my Tee shirt really helped so thank you for that suggestion!
