upset about my c section date

Okay with my two previous pregnancies things went horribly wrong at the end. My first I developed hellp syndrome at 35 weeks and my second had iugr and my placenta was slowly failing the whole time. Well so far so good with this lo but I was told as with my last with my history of two csections/hellp/blood platelet problem/iugr that he did not want me carrying over 38 weeks it's not worth the risk. Well today I saw the other doctor that works in office with my ob and the nurse set up my c section date on my due date. Now don't get me wrong I want my baby to cook as long as possible but my body does not handle well at the end and I almost lost my life due to high blood pressure with my first...I just don't understand how they expect me to go full term, when I know in reality I won't even be close because as I said before my body is aginst me in this..I'm terrified for my life and I do not want to be ripped of my birthing experience again being rushed to the OR because my organs are hemorrhaging. It's just upsetting that they are pushing for a 40 week delivery when my ob himself believes 38 is full term and is my best option. Maybe I'm over reacting but I seriously do not like the thought of carrying that long when my blood pressure is already acting up.
