Dog help ladies!
Okay my chocolate lab is driving me insane , she will not stay out of the trash, she's always looking for food, mind you her bowl is full of dog food & her water dish is full as well. We give her the amount that the vet recommended daily because she is already over weight. Walks don't seem to be helping & she is starting to steal my kids food right out of there hands , off the table/highchair and I can't deal with that. (Iv started keeping her in her kennel but she will literally bark loud as heck until I let her out)

Also what about anemia? If the iron is too low yes dogs too can end up with PICA.
Yes dogs love table food but eating things not food related is due to other issues.
And behavior modifications bad training needs to be started ASAP since Rey learn fast and can be hard to break.
Are you giving your dog vitamins too?
Dog food isn't enough these days, it's so crappily made.

You have to be consistent. Put her in he kennel and let her bark. She's barking because she wants you to let her out, and so far it has worked. I know it's really hard. Do you have a backyard? Maybe put her outside during meals.
Also, do you only give her dry food? What brand? My dogs hated plain dry food. Try adding some canned food to her dry food. Or maybe try switching the dry food brand. My dogs love the new Purina dry food. I think it's called True Instincts. It has pieces of meat in it that my dogs love.
