I had the same thing after I had my daughter. I would make sure to go even though I couldn't feel any urge to pee. Everything started working normally again after a week or so.

It took me awhile to get the sensation back as well.

Same happened to me, the urge came back after a bit.

I think @Cams went through the same exact thing a few months ago, the feeling usually returns after a little bit

I actually had the same issue and I'm post c section I could go pee when I wanted but I never got the urge . Sometimes I would go to the bathroom and it was like my bladder was sooo full but I never got a sign . Now I get the urge again so it may just be one of those weird things that happen. But if your concerned talk to your doctor .

I had the exact same problem. I feel like maybe this is one of those normal things that no one warns you about.

I had the same problem. It wore off slowly over a couple weeks.

Eta: it only happened with ds. Didn't happen with dd.

@skate that Is so true. I'm 4month posts p. And I'm barely getting that sensation of having to pee . It's not that strong but enough to make me aware of having to go .

I had the same thing after my first. I just made sure I paid attention and kept going. It came back. And I haven't had it again with the other 2 kids.

I had that for a few days after giving birth. I peed myself a couple of times because I didn't know I needed the loo!

I know for me after having a baby on my Bladder for 41 weeks it felt amazing ? to not feel so much pressure. I never get catheters tho I hate them I never feel the same after having one.

Normal - I had no feeling or control for a week or two. Peed on the bathroom floor once on my way to use the toilet. ? It slowly comes back. I had to keep track of when I last went & make sure to go every few hours. I knew I had to & that I just couldn't feel it.

imagine after having 3 kids...after my second I'll cough and pre everywhere ..i wouldn't feel anything until I had already peed..and to think I'm having my last..gezz hope I don't peed all over myself again..

It was 6 or 8w post section until I started having the urge to go again. I would just pee every few hours to make sure I didn't get a uti. Sensation *should* come back eventually. Anything longer than a couple of months.. your doc can run some tests.

Edit: never wet myself or anything. Just didn't have the urge to pee.
