unisex name Calling all those with unisex names:

I have an 8 year old girl named Charli she hasn't ever said anyone has ever made fun of her name.. We also have a girl Devin and girl Avery!

I hated having a unisex name as a kid. (leigh) I always got the "haha you've got a boys name ?" now as an adult, I couldn't give a s*** .

Aubrey. I know a few guys and lady's with that name.

Can I just say I love the name Charlie for a girl! Ever since that show on Disney "good luck Charlie" she is adorable

So I never see unisex names as unisex, my mind always goes one way or the other. However, in my preschool class one year I had a girl devin & omg the name fit her so perfectly! Devin is literally the only name to me that is unisex now lol

My name is Erin, I used to dislike it but just because for my age it was common not because it's a unisex name. I will however say anytime I give my name it's almost always spelled Aaron.

Ifoundthebread, my names Leigh too!!!! I've never met another girl names Leigh lol but anyway I like my name and no one ever made fun of me or said it was a boys name. I also liked that when someone said "Leigh" they knew who you were talking about, no one else had my name which was cool

My df's name is Makenzie, people have always questioned it because it's a girl name. When he was 13 he actually started going by a different name because he hated it so much.

My DD name is Taylor I have a girl freind named Devin and a girl cousin named Mikal "Michael" and a girl cousin named Max and my friend just named her DD Jayden ..

@momma I've never met another female leigh either! Always hyphenated on another name. But early 90s Lee was a common boys name here, I went to school with 2 boys same name. It was a lot more common for a boy. It was in primary school people would say it's a boys name. Stopped when I was about 8/9

I love the name Devin for a girl. I used to babysit a little girl called Devon and I thought it was such a spunky name!

My name is considered unisex. And so is my second daughters name. Doesn't bother me. I've been told my daughters name is pretty on her compared to a boy. ??‍♀️

I knew a lot of girl Devins growing up. I've always thought that Devin was a unisex name.

Also OP to add, I've never met a male Devin but I have met multiple female Devins

I worked with a lady named Devin and people gave her sh!t about it all the time. I like the name though.
