My husband just came home from work (even though it's 3 and he's off at 5). Normally this would be excited. However, he's headed back to work video games in hand because it's such a slow day at work. He keeps saying how he wishes he could stay home as he searches for his favorite game. I'm a sahm, a sick sahm who is taking care of a sick toddler. He didn't want to stay home today because I wasn't sick enough and he didn't want to waste a sick day.

My mom was just telling me a story like this when I was a baby and she stayed home for a year we were both really sick and my dad tried to pull a similar move except watch a tennis match. My mom put me in the same room as him in my bassinet and locked herself in her room after taking a sleeping pill she felt horrible leaving me to get sick all over myself but my dad realized real quick he screwed up and she needed his help.
