baby's measurements

My baby has been measuring a week ahead since I found out I was pregnant. At my ultrasound on Friday, the tech said baby was measuring a week behind. Is that normal? Does that mean I need to eat more?

Babies have growth spurts at different times. Eating more will only make you gain weight. I’m sure baby is just fine.

That’s exactly what I trying to explain to you. When you said your doctor tried to change your due date based on your baby measuring ahead. That it was inaccurate and I would go with your original March date due to when your in second trimester babies grow at different rates. Now your baby is measuring right along with your original due date and that will put you a week behind with your second due date since they tried to change it based on her growth.

It has nothing to do with what your eating at all. She is just measuring according to your original due date.

@militia that makes a lot of sense. So in reality, my baby is right on schedule. It's so confusing when they change your due date. They should just leave it as the first one and measure baby according to that date

Yes they just made it more confusing for you.

But yes your right on track with your original due date. So baby is perfectly on track! No need to worry hun she is definitely growing ? and plus one week behind your second due date is not bad at all neither. So either way you put it she is good mama!
