I went to the doctor today and the dr said in my prev op report, the dr who did my c section wrote they cut me horizontally but pulled me open vertically. She said that's not even possible since it's either one way or the other. So that brings my chances of having a vbac down. And I'm thinking if I should even risk it and just do another c section. I was just very confused and a little down leaving my appt....

It is possible. They cut superficial layers skin and muscle horizontally but uterus vertically. It's usually related to emergency csec... And I wouldn't think they would encourage a VBAC after classical cut... Most deliver you scheduled csec at 37weeks to avoid going into labor.
Unless your verical cut was low and not truly classical.

I have no clue!! The doctor was even confused by the report (I switched doctors). I did have an emergency c section. I went into labor at 33 weeks. My baby was turning but didnt make it all the way. The way you explained it makes sense. So it's likely that I wont have a vbac
