Chiropractor
Has anyone taken their LO to the chiropractor? What did it help with?
My son will be going for the first time in a week. When he was army crawling he only really used the one side of his body. Now that he's really crawling/trying to walk I can tell his one hip is way out. He's also be fighting sleep like crazy. Really hoping it helps with that also :)
Yes, I go myself and every third time I book Beau in too. I like the idea that the chiro can tell if anything is bothering him because he can't tell me. Most of the time he is fine, but a couple of times she adjusted his neck and he always sleeps so well after. If for example they have a sore shoulder and we don't know about it, baby will favour the other side and it can affect the way they develop and learn to use their body. I know I feel a million times better after an adjustment. Out bodies are not designed to live this modern life so they need a bit of extra help I always think.
it completely depends on the chiropractor. my obgyn is very holistic (as much as one can be) and he referred us to her. I would not take my lo to a regular chiropractor and would definitely discuss it with your los pediatrician first. or maybe with your obgyn to see if they recommend one.
we have! we actually had her come to our home a couple times to align baby and myself after delivery. we don't go as often now that lo is older, but if lo had any issues like reflux, allergies, etc. we would be there in a heartbeat before the doctors. I also went to my chiropractor while pregnant. she is very holistic and amazing at what she does. we love her!
More like I need to see a chiropractor! Never been to one but I'm pretty sure my hips and lumbar are way out of whack and could use some fixing!
