After a failed FET cycle at the beginning of October, I was on track for a back to back FET cycle this month. Last cycle I had a reaction to the PIO shots in sesame oil, so they switched me to the ethyl oleate shots but I still swelled up. Then they switched me to Crinone which was fine for me...

I had a swollen throat and mouth from progesterone in olive oil (which we ironically chose to omit reactions to the sesame).
My new protocol is suppositories only (doc didn't want to risk the oleate version). I had no more problems after switching to endometrin.
I think in your case a allergy test would be adviceable, as you are likely not allergic to the hormones, but the vessel they get administered.

@maldiveschild That's so strange that the olive oil caused an issue for you! I would think that is the safer way to go too. The suppositories are yucky, but if it works with your body then that's all that matters. I started breaking out in hives again tonight and I'm on prednisone and stopped all of my hormones...so now I'm totally confused as to what is causing this!
Why is nothing ever easy!? Lol
