Finger foods and lumpy foods!

My lg was the exact same up until a couple of weeks ago (she's just turned 9 months) she used to gag and throw up any lumpy food but one day it just seemed to click and now she is absolutely fine with it! X

My baby was exactly the same as pp then one day she just started doing it x

My son is 8.5months too, his still on purées, no matter how hard i try he refuses to have any lumpy food. He'll have finger food but like your daughter he'll just suck it. During the day he refuses to drink any milk so no milk at all all day and only at night he has 2 3oz bottle that's it.

Tilly refuses her bottles mostly or will only drink a little bit except bed time bottle and she wakes for one at night . Can't really help with lumpy foods as Tilly will just eat anything lol she is just like her mummy ? xxx

Don't worry she is still young. Food before one is just for fun- anything did doesn't get from food she will get from milk just now.

It's not their main source until after one but have you tried showing her how to chew? We did this with Rosie just looking at her when she was eating doing big over exaggerated chews and she thought it was funny and started copying xx

I wouldn't worry to much Hun cartez has just turned 9 months and learnt how to chew lol he was choking on everything before this but I had to start again from the start now his fine just give little bits every so often xx

Thanks guys, since I wrote this post she's actually ate all the lumpy food I've given her! I'll try giving it big with chewing tomorrow and see if that works! Xx
