She had Jaundice which is pretty normal for premature babes..

and she needed support to feed but after 2.5 weeks we were out. I got her out by giving her a bottle with expressed breast milk. If I wanted to only breastfeed she would of been in there until 40 weeks. She latches at the moment with a nipple shield but we are progressing with the breastfeeding.

It's quite challenging expressing and feeding her but it was so worth it to get her home. The only real negative is she may never established full breast feeding so I'll just have to deal with expressing.. ekk.

But apart from feeding she is doing absolutely amazing. She is a breeze and is meeting all the milestones expected of a full term.

My recovery was great after a vaginal delivery.. just a few stiches. But I felt so much better instantly after the placenta was out!

I how long did she stay in the nicu and did she have any problems. I might be induced at 34 weeks which is next Saturday baby is measuring behind . Also she's so adorable.
