Holden had his 2 month check up on Monday. He's now 24.5 inches long which is 4 inch growth since birth, putting him at the 95th percentile. He weighs 11 pounds 4oz which is a 4 pound gain, but he's only 25th percentile in this. We've begun to feed him breast milk bottles twice a day because he just would cry and nurse all day, with the realization of the lack of substantial weight gain; he must be an inefficient nurser. He finally began smiling around 9 weeks but only smiles for mama and it's not often. Hopefully we see more smiles soon.. He sleeps through the night most nights lately. it's going by so quickly! I'm ready for number two!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

Today, we are deeply saddened by the news that @Martinajjones' baby, Jason Andrew Colley, was born early and passed away. He was born today, on his father's birthday, at 34 weeks, weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces and 17 inches long. @Martinajjones has been a strong member of this community since January. We are so sad for her loss, and her family's, and our thoughts go out to her.
