Benadryl!

I'm allergic to chicken, carrots, celery, peaches, and apples. Not deathly, I used to swell up like a balloon, especially my lips but now I just get itchy and if I eat anything with those items I feel bloated and sick afterwards. Claritin and Benadryl are my BFFS.

Hydrocortisone always helps with the itch but if you want more natural remedy I tend to soak in a cool tub. You could make a bath for you fingers in a small bowl lol. As weird as it is sometimes milk helps me when I touch something I'm allergic too. Just rub a little between your fingers and see if it helps.

Thank you ladies. It was the trigger to my eczema, so I'm scared I'm going to get bumps on my fingers and they'll itch. I have one on the knuckle of my thumb but hopefully that's it.

No advice except to get a natural detergent. All of the normal ones are actually horrifying in terms of harmful ingredients.

I'm allergic to detergents too, even the natural ones. The only ones that I don't break out in hives with are dreft and arm & hammer sensitive. It's such a pain!

@pp I use the hypoallergenic tide and I had no issues with it. I normally do two washes with my clothes I put baking soda and vinegar in the load but it's on rinse and spin cycle and then add my tide in, and put it rewash it on the regular cycle if that makes any sense lol. It always seems to work. I aways did the baking soda and vinegar because my mom had animals and my dog yogi would pee on the clothes if they were in front of the washer in the baskets so my mom started doing the baking soda and vinegar cycles before the actual cycle.

@yaya I like the arm and hammer but my dad doesn't because his blanket didn't come out smelling good like gain lol. He said it was just an ordinary smell, nothing fancy lol he's weird. So we agreed on tide lol.

That's funny! I didn't used to be allergic to any of them. It happened sometime in my late 20's. It took forever for me to figure out that it was my detergent.

Yaya I used gain for years and developed eczema in 6th grade and comes to find out it was the trigger to my eczema I didn't find out until the ending of 7th grade

I originally thought it just from the soaps I was using. So we tried changing detergents and ever since I haven't itched or had a sign of eczema. But I loved gain a lot ??. It smelt so amazing, I mean so does my tide but it smelt like heaven lol.
