This was an Amber Alert about midnight last night. I was heartsick about this and kept looking for updates. Thankfully the baby was found safe. The suspect left the vehicle and child. I kept thinking what I would have done in this situation. This mom is one courageous women.

Yes, she jumped out while he was still in the back.

That's kinda what I think PP. That's why I think she's so courageous. It would have been harder for me to leave then stay with my child. Her quick actions are what saved both of them. It's hard to say what I would do until you are in the situation. I don't think I would have been brave enough to leave my son. This hit me hard because my son is 3.

Totally agree wtg... she could've felt the threat was empty & they were both more likely to be harmed if she didn't try to get help.

I couldn't even imagine being in that place & hope I would be brave enough to do SOMETHING.... because going along rarely bodes well.

In the Alert it had more info along with a photo of the baby in his car seat. The suspect slowed down for a fire truck and that's when she jumped out. She tried flagging down the fireman. They found the car and child an hour later.

That poor woman. I couldn't imagine. My heart goest out to her. ❤❤ but this is why I carry as well.

Initially I was thinking there was no way I hell I'd leave my baby or any baby for that matter but she probably thought this was the opportunity she had to take to seek help. Thank God everything is ok!
