Proof of living together

Do you have bills addressed to both of you or a rental agreement with both your names on it?

Lease agreement, joint utility accounts ?

I've never heard of that! I've just rang them and told them and that was enough

I've never heard of that either, only if you were no longer living together. How strange.

I had so much trouble with this! We were subletting through a friend, so had no paper work with both our names on it.

Two years later, we decided to open a joint account and only then they finally accepted we were living together and in a relationship.

They should tell you what you'd need though? Lease agreement, bills, etc.

Yeah I just rang the and told them there is no financial gain from them when you move in together so no one claims to do it if it's not true. It's more you need proof of claiming to separate

Never heard of this, when we did all the relationship stuff with CL we just had to fill out their relationship form and tick 'register as defacto'.

Only time I've known CL to want proof with a relationship, is when you break up with the person who you are in a relationship with.

How s*** is it! Why would I lie about being together.

We don't have anything with both our names on it, everything is in my name.

Do they have forms you can sign in front of a Jp? Like a stat dec?

Dh was told he needed to give proof of employment (he was in newstart but has a job now, he has to report his income each fortnight for 6f/n still) they asked him for proof of employment.

Like wth....he reports well over the maximum wage so we r getting no c.link payments.....why would we be lying and doing things to NOT get payments if it was untrue?!?!?!
