Mirena question I'm meant to get the mirena put in next week and I'm 3 months pp and haven't got my period yet.

I had mine put in yesterday. I am 8 weeks pp and haven't had a period yet. I had slight bleeding but it has stopped today.

I got mine at 6 weeks pp they made me do a pregnancy test first

Did it hurt much getting placed?

No it was slightly uncomfortable but didn't hurt and I have a low pain threshold

It doesn't hurt, more uncomfortable than anything! I had a local anaesthetic put into my cervix and that felt like a Papsmear. It was all over quickly!

You do get some cramping after but it doesn't last for long and it's only mild.
