The light part doesn't work anymore but the tunes do.. Dd loves it.
It has a 15 minute timer then turns off.. Never been an issue for us as dd is always asleep by the time it goes off and we don't have to go in and disturb her to turn it off.
Love that it can run off batteries and electricity.. Has been so easy to pack and take with us on holidays ect.
I keep the on the go version in my bag. When my daughter was little I would attach it to the pram or stuff it down my top when I was getting her to sleep out of the house. The portable one we keep in her room mostly but when we go away it's easy to come with us, and because it runs on batteries it means we aren't scrambling for a power outlet. I also have the sleepy sounds app on my i devices... That's good too.... I always use the timer so the noise is just a sleep cue rather than her relying on it to sleep. She's 2 now and turning it on is part of her bed time routine... She can and does sleep without it but it's a good reminder that it's bed time.

I have that exact nightlight bought it off ebay and do not recommend it at all! Most annoying & loud nightlight and it turns off after 10 minutes.

I got mine off ebay too. DS loves it, I turn it on when I put him in his cot and he listens/watches it as he puts himself to sleep.

I have an egg shaped one I got off the national geographic website.
It has the stars that change colours and white noise. I love it the ocean sound puts me to sleep
