Baby's hand on face affecting birth

Never thought of that. Dd1 always had her hand on her face in her scans but I birthed naturally with no problems as such

My son was born sucking on the back of hand.

I had a natural labor, no stitching but a little scratch from my son's finger on the inside of my lip.

My ds was birthed with his arm in the air. It caused a touch of trouble but not much, he needed the vacuum. But he was fine ?

I have no advice, but OMG! So close!

I had a natural birth and my girl was born with her hands against her face lol.

I tore a teeny bit, I don't know whether that had anything to do with it.

My boy was born with his hand up over his face, second degree tear and he had the vaccum on for 2 minutes because as soon as they threatened me with an episiotomy i pushed him straight out...

I have no idea what position my sons hand was in just before he was born but he came out superman style - he was my first, natural birth, no stiches no drugs all fine! Good luck
