Do you remember how long the letter took to arrive?

When you're doing the app they should ask about your employment info

It hasn't been finalised cause you will receive a pre-approval letter, regardless if your employer is paying it or your receiving it directly.

My letter took a few weeks from memory.

I have found recently after having bub and submitting paperwork and hubby submitting his dad and partner pay paperwork that to get Centrelink to actually process any claims I have had to Call them or else it can take up to 6 weeks for it to be even looked at

@Gen-james the prosposed new paid parental leave has been but the existing one is still in place.

I'm due in March too and I got a letter to say I would be receiving it via my employer. Also, when I log in to the Centrelink app it has an 'Add Newborn' tab for when bub is born.

I'm going to go in and see them today as I can't find the number to ring.

Yup I got my pre approval letter few weeks ago (due this week). It will tell you what you need to send once bub is here
