Is it only like that when you're going from a lying to a sitting position? Mine bulges out into a point when I make that kind of movement and is a separation of my abs.
Yes it's abdominal separation if this is while you are going from lying to sitting up - like Ronnie said, try avoid it. Roll to the side before sitting and I'm pretty sure every pregnant women experiences abdominal separation to some extent...
My cousin is a physio and she said most women get some separation of the abs and that they don't really worry unless they can get 4 fingers between them. the physio that comes around after birth will give you gentle exercises to do after birth. :)

I can't feel a gap or anything but have read that this can be a sign that they have separated. Fingers crossed they haven't
