No you can only get one at a time. You also only get part A of FTB I think whilst you are on paid parental leave.

Yeh you can get parenting payment as well as ftb either a or b whichever one is based on your partners earning (obviously depends if your partner earns too much) just not the ftb that is based on your earnings cos ppl is classed as your income

You get paid parental leave, ftb A and parenting payment at the same time. Then when ppl finishes you get ftb B.

I was under the impression I couldn't and went to apply just as my paid parental leave was finishing up. Thank god I spoke to a lovely lady who told me I should have been getting parenting payment for the past 15 weeks and kindly back payed me!

But do all you paper work online if you can. I went in when pregnant and they said family assistance is all over the phone now so they put me on the phone in the office for 3o mins them the person on the phone said " oh just fill out online "

The paid parental leave I could do then I only had to take a picture of hospital form the parenting payment was easier to do straight after baby was added.
