33+4 Movement/Kick count
Im 33+ 4 and this pregnancy feels so much different than with my first. I have front a placenta but that was only an issue in the beginning. I can feel everything now but baby isn't super active. Mostly feeling rolling or baby sticking out to one side or stretching but baby rarely kicks about super active she's very quiet but like I know she's there. I just don't remember movement slowing down this much at 33 weeks. Is baby kicking and moving like crazy for you?
It's so hard to not freak out. I think it's because it's the second time around and I'm more aware of all the different things that can happen. Also every pregnancy is different and this one sure is. Baby was moving quite a bit last few days. Sometimes she's quiet for days and then she moves like crazy. So weird mabye it's just her personality or growth spurts. Thanks ladies.
Last week my nurse confirmed that they’re looking for movement of any type. Their standard is lower, 6x movements in 2hrs vs 10x. I’ve come to see that there are two different schools of thought on the number of movements to track over 2hrs. My nurse said to also use my judgement. I’ve carried the baby this far and would likely have an idea on when and frequency of movement, what’s normal and what isn’t.
My baby girl is very active but her kicks aren’t kicks anymore just like your Little one. She rolls a lot and also sticks her body parts out, I believe at this point of pregnancy out babies are just running out of space. As long as you get 10 movements of any kind in 2 hours I would say Baby is all good in there.
My baby girl use to move a lot around 27 weeks and when it came time for kick counts her movements started to slow down, I rarely feel her kick me but I feel her rolling and stretching a lot more which I consider as movement since she doesn’t kick, I went to doctors since it was a concern for me as well and she is perfectly fine she is probably getting use to the less space she has but if it is a worry to you always call and ask your doctor just to make sure ?
