It's tough! It's a lot easier to labor at home though. Walk walk walk, have sex, rest, stay hydrated and eat when you can. Going to the hospital and getting admitted food,sex, and relaxing stops. Try to get through what you can at home

It's especially tough to tell when your water hasn't broke and I haven't even lost my mucus plug yet :(

I am in the EXACT same boat. Literallllly! It's driving me crazy. Everyone says walk and I've done that and now it just is a slap in the face when you go to the hospital with contractions only to find out you're not dilating past 1/2.

I've been 4cm and 80% for over a week and nothing's happening. Went once and got sent home. I just wanna have this baby ??

Go home and get in a warm bath I'm sure it will break your water it broke mine plus I got a membrane sweep and that made things speed up for me ..

Wait til water breaks. The. Head quickly. I hope baby comes soon for you. I was at a 3 dilation for a month.

Thanks ladies! Im going to try and be as patient as I can. My SO and I did it twice today and I went for a long walk. Other than that...just have to sit tight for now.

Yes I actually had him a couple days ago :) they orgibally sent me home, then 5 hours later my water broke. I did a birth post the other day on the forum.
