I think it's funny but not funny...but baby does not move ever for my SO. I feel bad because he has yet to feel him move! He's busy with his job so maybe that's the reason.

Yes! Baby never moves for my mom. Her theory is the baby will be very calm around her once they're here. She's superstitious like that lol. Idk where she got that from ?

Baby is still unpredictable. He'll kick and then not do it again for several minutes. Hubby is not patient enough to sit and wait. Hell put his hand on the spot for about 5 seconds and then say he can't sit there forever! I don't even tell him when hes moving anymore lol

Mine was like this for the longest time. Then my husband started falling asleep with his hand on my belly when we go to bed. It seems like shortly after he started doing that every night, he started feeling our little guy kick more and more each day. I wonder if they just have to get used to them?

I read somewhere online that it has something to do with a new heartbeat stunning the baby into "silence"
Like, they're used to our heartbeat, so when we put our hand on our belly nothing changes, but when your SO puts their hand on your belly the baby hears their heartbeat and it's a new sound so they're curious and stop moving and just listen.
No idea if it's accurate, but the theory made my husband feel a bit better about it!

My first two kids would always stop moving about when hubs tried to feel their kicks.
This babe (our third) finally let daddy feel one good kick a few weeks ago, but hasn't since lol! I figure he is lucky to have felt one at all throughout our pregnancies considering the percentage of those that I feel!

They're used to mamas pulse so try having him fall asleep with his hand on your belly for him to get used to his touch my baby will "play" with my SO(my husband will tap my belly and zayne kicks back and they go back and forth for a few minutes my hubs thinks its awesome) hes slept with his hand on my belly for the majority of my pregnancy so I believe baby is used to his pulse (he also responds to his voice when he speaks near my belly)

My little peanut does that too. It's so funny. But he will move my my daughter talks to him.
