I'm 28 weeks and went for a checkup today and they did an US which everything was very normal. But my doctor mentioned that I need to schedule another US because I have higher than normal fluid around the sak. He said to not worry. It just means that if it is a lot of fluid then my water can break early.

I was told i had too much amniotic fluid at one point during my last pregnancy. They sent me to a high risk specialist for a repeat ultrasound and my fluid measured normal. The first ultrasound tech was incorrect. If you have gestational diabetes too much amniotic fluid can be a symptom of too high blood sugars.

I have a lot of fluid will all my babies, that doctors always comment on the amount and one was 9 days early, 4 days early and 7 days early (induced). So for me they were a little early but not really early.
