Dont let your family upset you!! Some people are so "disconnected" from real life problems. Especially if it doesn't affect them directly. Continue to do what's best for you and let this motivate you to continue pushing forward. Many blessing on your TTC journey hunny!!!!! ?
Ever since hubby and I got married (Aug 2016) my family has been asking "when are you going to get pregnant?" I don't want to bring them into the whole ttc thing so I just tell them "if it happens it will happen."
On our wedding night we chose to stop preventing pregnancy and see what would happen.. being naive and thinking it would happen right away, but it hasn't.
My mom had all 3 of us as surprises, so she doesn't get that it doesn't happen right away!
Sometimes it does get to me when they nag about grandkids, but I try to not let it get to me ?
I HATE the " just stop trying and it'll happen" comment. People who haven't delt with infertility issues just don't understand. We TTC for 7 yrs before we went the ivf route. Ivf is the only way to conceive for us and even then ivf came with some sad emotions.
Op, have u considered checking other fertility clinics for prices? There r many that r much more affordable, $3,500 - $8,000 depending on the type of ivf service. My clinic charges $3,500 for a mini ivf cycle n $7,000 for a full ivf cycle n there r also many clinics who can work with u to finance Ur cycle.
For about 4 years now.. I'm f*** ing tired of people telling me the same s*** .. "just stop thinking about it" nooo s*** .. likeeee it was that f*** ing easy.. people don't understand these days.. ugh..
Hubby and i got married in 2011. We knew we didnt want babies straight away. We had just finished building our house so we still had alot to do eg garden etc. So after 2 yrs we decided to start try. All through everyone was like hurry up have a baby, when are you having a baby. The worse comment i had ever received was its easy to make a baby just spread your legs! This was from my brothers cow of a partner. Little did alot of people know we were seeing doctor after doc to try and figure out why i was fallen pregnant. Finally after sering a ivf doc and a round of clomid and a period i was pregnant. My daughter is now almost 14 months and we are now getting harassed when we are having the next one. Hubby and i now say its not your busy. When we get pregant we will let you know. People have no idea words hurt when you struggle to fall pregnant.
