I think you're too early for your LH surge. I'd get very similar results if I used them too early. In fact, they annoyed me so much, I stopped using them.
It's most likely because you are too early. I don't start them until cd10. I usually get surges from the cd13 to cd16. They really don't start darkening until a day or two before a positive. Start them later next time.
I wouldn't feel discouraged if you never get a positive...I never got a full positive just a few that were kinda darker around CD 15-16 and for sure thought I was out this month. I got my bfp Friday, 5 days before af was supposed to show.

Definitely see a darker line on the top stripe.
I've used the same stripes and got my ovulation right as I'm pregnant now :)

Got a slightly darker opk today. So any day this week seems promising
