I've tried talking to him but he says if I don't want him to play, he'll just go play pool instead. I'd rather have him home so I don't have to be 100% alone, so I just leave it alone. He says he's depressed.

Well he has insurance now. But he would need to stop playing video games for 5 minutes in order to make an appointment or go to one...

It would probably be good for him. I'll talk to him tonight and see if he's willing to go if I make an appointment for him.
