I’m due 2/4/18 also! I had a scan Tuesday which made me 32+2 and baby boy was 4lbs10oz. My belly measures right on if not smaller and when I went for a growth scan at 28 weeks they discovered I have Polyhydramnios which is excess amniotic fluid. Generally with this, your belly measures big but not in my case! This is why I think belly measuring is a load a BS lol at this last scan my fluid levels went up even more and my belly still measures a little small! I feel very tight and uncomfortable all the time and my doctor kinda blew me off since I measured right on track but now (finally!) he understand why!

I've never understood the accuracy of the tape since every woman carries differently. I was measuring 2weeks bigger for most of my pregnancy. But now tape has me 2weeks smaller than I'm suppose to be. My 20wk ultrasound was showing right on target by femur.

I haven't had an ultrasound since. But even those "growth scans" are estimation and I've found them to be off by at least a pound with each of my babies.

See i thought that maybe i started carrying excess fluid or something too becus at around 27 weeks i had a 4d scan & they checked the size of baby & fluid then a few days later at the antenatal appointment my belly meassured like 2 weeks bigger, so she said if i meassured big again they would send me for a scan (i really didnt understand how i was meassuring bigger), went for the scan & baby & fluid is fine, it really is BS & im sure they must worry mammys all the time with that tape, cus i was worrying! Aaww i can picture how uncomfortable you are, good ur doc understands now! x

Same here I’m 31.1 weeks at my appointment at 30 weeks they said my belly measured 28 weeks. My daughter at 20 weeks was at the 27th percentile. They said if I measuring small this appointment they will do an ultrasound. I’m so curious to see what she weighs it worries me.
