Hospital Bag! What type of hospital bag are you bringing & are you bringing one for yourself & baby?

Im bringing a cabin suitcase for the baby and medium Adidas gym bag for myself.

I'll bring diaper bag with the stuff for my twins and then a duffle type bag for myself and husband

Yeah I am with u. I have no clue

Just bring a going home outfit for baby, a pair of clothes for me and some shower stuff. That's it. Everything else I don't need since I'll leave with more cuz the hospital always gives you a bunch of stuff. Last time.o walked out with 2 garbage bags of stuff

@jenenemarie, we live in belfast-ireland, we have to bring all our own stuff, i wouldnt mind leaving with two bags full!? x

I’m in Australia and have to pack everything mysellf as well. This is my first and I usually do a labour bag which has anything I’ll want just for the labour ward.

A change of clothes and nappy for baby.

Then I do a baby bag which is nappies, change of clothes for at least 2 days and a going home outfit, blanket, bottle just encase, socks and singlets, hat.

Then I will probably just stay 1 night but usually prepare for 3 for your first.

@mummylove12, thanks that was really helpful! My friend got me lavender & tea tree oil for baths after, what is witch hazel? Ive heard some mummys on this talking about it, so it must be good! x

I threw some stuff into a duffel bag the day of my induction last time, lol. I'll probably do it the day of my caesarian this time! I just packed some clothes and pads and stuff, but it wasn't so important because I live less than ten minutes away from the hospital so my partner could pick up anything else I needed from home.
