Okay mamas...
I know we’re all so anxious for our LO’s to make their appearance, seeing as it’s FINALLY April. Well, I am due the 10th. I had my 39w appointment yesterday, I am 2cm and 70% effaced, very thinned out. Also they are able to touch her head because she’s so low. I got a membrane strip yesterday and was contracting all day long, even went for a walk at the mall ? they said if I don’t go into labor on my own, I’m scheduled for induction the 17th. So id be 41 weeks. I don’t want to go that long overdue, that’s scary to me. I’m a very tiny person and I’m worried I may rip/tear, or she may be too big and I’ll need a csection. ? any suggestions to help move her along?!
I am 100% with you girl. This is my 4th and first boy he has been measuring 2 weeks ahead the whole time so i am terrified he's gonna be 11lbs lol. Even my doc said i know you can do 9.7 but can you do 11. I told her ill do anything to be induced i dont care i want to vaginally deliver. I absolutely cannot have a csection with 2 kids in school and i have my other one home while i watch my nephew with me i need to drive i need to be a mom my husband cant be off work for weeks to help its just not possible. But theyre starting my induction tomorrow ill be 39 weeks so hopfully fingers crossed it works. Good luck to you.
@mma bless your soul! DS1 was 8lb5oz, DS2 was 8lb3oz. Both fairly easy labors and delivery, didn’t rip/tear/need stitches with either of them. Idk how ? I’m just deathly afraid of having a csection as I have always been a healthy person and never had to be hospitalized other than pregnancy-wise. Never broke a bone, never needed any surgery, nothing. So it terrifies me to have a csection since I have no idea what to expect
@mma I wasn’t even thinking about the after care of a csection and the recovery, omg! Hopefully your LO cooperates and you don’t have to get one, good luck to you ??
