Advice for planned c-section

Mommies, I have a 5yo who was an emergency c-section at 40w3d and ended up in the NICU. This time I have a planned c-section to hopefully avoid all the craziness. Any advice for me? My doc told me that he will go over the birth plan with me, but any advice is welcome! All I know is that I have to get there 2 hrs before surgery to get my epidural/ pain meds in place. I also know that I have to fast from the night before. Nothing more that I know.

Im going to start taking stool softeners and gas-x a few days before so they are already in my system. I'm also stocked up on ibuprofen and depends underwear!

I'm about to have my 3rd. I asked my OB if i needed to do anything special & he looked at me like I was a bit silly ?

No need to shave/wax/trim if you don't typically. They'll shave where they need to.

Pack granny panties & prune/prune juice/stool softeners in your suitcase post-birth.

I've previously been allowed a 'light' breakfast the day of surgery. The wait for surgery can be a bit boring, so be prepared. Otherwise, there's not much else you can do!

All the best ?
